Maryland-born Founder/Director Chris Robinson of Robot Films is the one of the most prolific, sought after directors in the industry. Robinson’s work is widely recognized for its cinematic scope, engaging sense of narrative, and humorous irreverence. Chris has directed commercials for brands such as iPod, AT&T, Coca- Cola, Coors Light, Gatorade, Verizon, Kodak. Chris made his feature film debut with Overbook/Warner Bros ATL starring Tip “TI” Harris and Lauren London. 

Chris has also worked with musical artists such as Jay Z, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Eminem.  His videos for Nas’ “One Mic” and Erykah Badu’s “Honey” were both nominated for Grammy awards in the Best Music Video category.  In addition to the Grammy nomination, Honey won Best Direction at the 2008 MTV VMA’s and at the 2008 BET Awards.

Chris is also a founding partner and Creative Director of RockCorps, an organization that encourages volunteerism in young people, which launched the Boost Mobile RockCorps program in 2005 and Orange RockCorps in 2008.  Chris enlisted Shephard Fairey, who has become well known for his iconic wheat-paste images of Barack Obama, to create the identity for RockCorps.
